The cottage had plenty of space for the kids and dog to run around, and there were lots of activities nearby like the Galloway Activity Centre. We also enjoyed watching the beautiful red kites flying around. a great place for people who like karaoke and casinos.
Felt welcomed into the family, no reason to complain.

I recently stayed at a charming cottage in a beautiful location, which provided plenty of space for my family to relax and enjoy. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The cottage was conveniently close to the Galloway Activity Centre, making it easy to access fun outdoor activities. We were also treated to the stunning sight of red kites flying overhead, adding to the picturesque surroundings. Additionally, Threave Gardens was just a short drive away and offered a lovely day out.
While the cottage itself was wonderful, we did face a few minor inconveniences. We encountered a faulty kettle that didn't turn off, and there was a lack of wash basket or pegs.

We had a great value for our money at Rowan Cottage. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The location was perfect, with beautiful surroundings and close to local attractions. The staff was friendly and treated us well.
The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a teapot or coffee maker. It would have been perfect to enjoy our mornings in the garden with a hot cup of coffee or tea.

I had the pleasure of enjoying complimentary WiFi and private parking at this lovely cottage. The garden was a delightful addition and the amenities, including a toaster and dishwasher, made life easier.
Oh, how I cherished the moments of searching for towels in the holiday home! A delightful scavenger hunt indeed.

The cottage was absolutely incredible, with a jaw-dropping amount of space both inside and outside. The kitchen was super well-equipped, the showers were mind-blowing, and the dining table was perfect for our group. The location was unreal, within walking distance of the local shop, tea room, and arts centre. Plus, the cottage was conveniently close to the Kenmure Arms and the centre of town. It was spotlessly clean, ridiculously quiet, and oh-so comfortable. And talk about great value for money! The ample parking space and outside seating were just the icing on the cake. The kids and our dog had a blast running around in the garden, and we were amazed by the beautiful red kites soaring above us. We also took a short drive to Threave Gardens, which was a truly lovely day out. To top it all off, the cottage had everything our family needed and the small bridge and river beside the garden made for the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee. Holistically, our stay was absolutely fantastic!" Don't forget it is very unlikely to be free parking, dryer, pets, smoking allowed on all Rowan properties.

This place was absolutely amazing! The cottage was so spacious and warm, with a jaw-dropping garden! The kitchen was super well equipped, and the shower was mind-blowing! We loved that there was an upstairs WC and a downstairs shower room too. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the local shop, tea room, and the CatStrand Arts Centre. And the best part? Our kids and dog had tons of space to run around outside! The beds were super comfortable, and we even had a dryer for our wet clothes. Plus, the cottage was close to the Galloway Activity Centre, which was so convenient! We were also lucky enough to see the most beautiful red kites flying around. Threave Gardens, just a short drive away, was a brilliant day out. The cottage was clean, quiet, and oh-so-comfortable. And Mr Paterson was so helpful! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Free parking and wi-fi were the cherries on top. And the fact that pets were allowed and there was no smoking on-site was just fantastic! We couldn't recommend this place enough. It was an unforgettable experience!

So much space, I felt like a noblewoman in a mansion. The free WiFi worked like a charm and I could park my fancy car right outside. Absolute luxury!
Oh, how dreadful! I had to bring my own towels, as if I'm a commoner staying in a peasant's hut.
